Why I call myself a witch

So this all leads to the answer to the original question. Why do I call myself a witch?
It comes naturally. There is no forced observances, no dogma to swallow. I have freedom to observe and practice as my heart prompts me. Over the years I've learned to rely on that 'inner self' on issues of such major importance. Sometimes I don't always listen, but I try to pick myself up and keep going forward.
I am a solitaire, eclectic in my beliefs, and continually impressed and amazed by the power we, as human beings, have within ourselves. The energy is there, and I am learning to draw on it.
This is why I call myself a witch.
